A matter close to our hearts: South Africa – our visit to Eagle's Nest

Sometimes there are places that stay with you. Not just in your head, but in your heart.
Our visit to Eagle's Nest touched us deeply.
At Eagle's Nest, the teams at Lebenslinien e.V. create a safe space for children from difficult social backgrounds. Here they receive regular meals, homework supervision, creative activities, emotional support, and, above all, reliable caregivers. The aim is to give the children stability, strengthen their self-confidence, and open up new perspectives for their future.
The name “Eagle's Nest” symbolizes exactly that: a safe place high above the challenges of everyday life. Just as young eagles find protection in the nest, grow, and gather strength before learning to fly, the children here should also experience support, be allowed to develop, and go their own way step by step.
For us, it's clear: we want to continue on this path and remain at the side of this special project. Thank you to Steffi, Thomas, and the entire team for making hope a reality every day. Frank & Lenka from Frankas Place
